Mr. Ren began his career with multinational companies as a business development manager and has extensive experience in the business development of new technologies and process equipment in the light metals industry. He obtained a degree in geology and later earned a second bachelor’s degree in English. In 2000, he joined Outokumpu Canada (Aisco Systems, later Outotec) and has successfully promoted the company’s Alumina and Aluminum technologies in the Chinese market. Mr. Ren’s background and understanding of both Chinese and Western cultures make him well-equipped to assist Western and Chinese companies in developing new markets with their innovative technologies.
